Pubic Hair Removal

Complete, or almost complete hair removal in the bikini area has become more common for women. Some centers offer pubic hair removal options for designs, tattoos, rhinestones and even designer logos. Pubic hair removal can also prevent embarrassment at the beach.

But, pubic hair removal has unique problems. Skin in the bikini area can be easily irritated and produce ingrown hairs. Shaving, waxing and sugaring can intensify these problems. Hair removal involving waxing and Brazilian bikini waxing can be very painful and cause bruising. Using depilatory creams for pubic hair removal can cause chemical burns if left on too long, and hair removal creams only last a few days. Pubic hair removal by electrolysis will result in permanent bikini line removal, but requires outgrowth and many hours to complete.

Laser pubic hair removal takes about 15-30 minutes per session and requires about 4-8 sessions.
